Using Internet images and attributing the author

The other day I was designing a CLIL lesson about geography elements. I wanted to illustrate students with some images so that they could relate the words with the geographic features. My first thought was to google the words "mountain" and "river" and take them from google images. However, there are some laws related to privacy and owning that don't allow this. I mean, you can take any image from the Internet, but, if that person doesn't want people to use it, is it moral to do it? 

Well, since I know Creative Commons I have tried to use only those images that are free to use, They usually require to name the author, but this is something that helps every creator to grow on the Internet, so I would be pleased to do it. In fact, this blog is now licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. If you want to take anything and post it you only have to mention me along with it.

The images I finally used had a creative commons license, so I credit the authors wherever I show them. If you want to see them, here they are:

The first one will be used to explain what are mountains and a mountain ranges. I will also show students that the higher the mountains the more possiblities to see snow. The second one displays a river, the topic that will be taught to students.

Then I would also include these images to illustrate the highest mountain and the widest river in the world: the Everest and the Nile.
